Sandy Baigent

Sandy has worked in legal field since 1988, and has specialized in the transportation industry since 2000 when she began representing trucking companies and truck drivers in Provincial Offences Court.

Sandy, frustrated with attending court multiple times for clients for similar type offences, wished to take a more pro-active approach with her transportation clients. She began working with clients to ensure they had effective policies and procedures in place to comply with regulations and industry best practices. Her work includes on-site audits, creation and implementation of policies and procedures, staff training and driver training as well.

Sandy began her own company, E & B Safety Consulting in December of 2007. Since then, she has hired two full time staff members.

Sandy obtained her Fleet Driver Trainer Certification in 2004, and Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation in January of 2008.

Sandy has had a number of articles published in Today's Trucking an Ontario Truck News.

Sandy, who is a gifted speaker and enjoys speaking to groups, has been asked to speak at various transportation functions. She has enjoyed her time as a session speaker for the Annual Conference for Transportation Health & Safety Association (2005 and again in 2010). Sandy was pleased to speak at the Transportation Club of Detroit in 2007.

During the last 11 years, she has been asked to speak at a number of insurance captive meetings, as well as various chapters of the Transportation Health & Safety Association throughout Ontario.

Of course, she most enjoys speaking at the driver safety meetings she conducts on behalf of her clients throughout the year.

June Byron

June had worked for 5 years as the Safety Clerk for a truck fleet of 50 trucks before joining E & B in December of 2008. June has extensive knowledge in log auditing, hours of service, file maintenance, RP plating and annual permits. June's background has given her value insight into the TWIC program, driver Fast Card Program, CTPAT, PIP and CSA programs.

Sarah Papp

Sarah has worked in the transportation industry since 2004. She began as a member of the log auditing team for a fleet of 500 trucks. Since that time, Sarah has expanded her areas of expertise to the point that she had been employed as the Fleet Safety Manager/Director of Safety for a 2 different transportation companies in the Windsor area.

Sarah has been a valuable addition to the E & B team since coming on board in January of 2011. Sarah has been a key reason why E & B has been able to successfully increase its log auditing program and is the helpful voice on the end of the phone line when clients call in.
